Jennifer Guzman

Treasurer & Secretary

Jennifer Guzman was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley in the Greater Los Angeles area. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree at California State University Northridge with a major in Communication Studies and a minor in Broadcast Journalism. She began her career in 2016 as a news reporter, anchor and producer at Crown City Network, a local TV and online news network serving Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley where she worked for one year before finding her true passion for women empowerment and serving her community.

Jennifer began at The Adelante Movement during college as a media intern and worked her way up. She has been responsible for event production and virtual content production including LIVE webinar production, digital coordinating, and content curation as well as social media marketing tactics and promotional efforts aimed at Adelante members.
 
In 2021, Jennifer has  taken the role of Program & Event Director for The Adelante Movement Nonprofit empowering and training Latinas economically and entrepreneurially through a digital community that provides training, and resources, as well as all virtual content (amid the Covid-19 pandemic)  & workshops nationally and regionally.
